Here's a link to the map/stats. If you click on the endpoint on the left side, you'll see the stats and elevation profile. Take it all with a grain of salt b/c it says we did over 4000' of elevation gain and that is not what the description said. https://www.google.com/maps/ms?msid=203984226168374248817.0004fa51a8c6b1adf35bb&msa=0&ll=38.803129,-78.343506&spn=0.037992,0.084543&iwloc=0004fa51a90eb4dc2aa24

Hollis, are you stopping in Centreville? If so, would you mind if I carpool w/ u & Joanne?

    May 23, 2014

    • Hollis

Yes, everyone should meet in Centreville at 7am (unless someone really wants to go straight to the trailhead). We will consolidate cars b/c there is limited parking at the trailhead and caravan from there.

Forecast is looking amazing: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. North wind around 8 mph.

Would people be interested in me moving this forward an hour to meeting at Centreville at 7am? I don't mind the early start, but some may like another hour. If all goes smoothly, this new time would mean getting off the trail about 3/3:30 and back to Centreville around 4:30/5. I will keep the current time if people have already made evening plans. You can respond here or email me through my profile page.
