4 hrs fun: BBQ, canoe, kayak and SUP at Potomac River near George Town.

Jim, Patricia and I will be hosting a BBQ/canoe/kayak/SUP party from 4-8pm for our fabulous WB members at a sport canoe club located near the Key Bridge at the Capital Crescent trail head. Please come out and have fun BBQ party, kayaking, canoeing or SUP paddling with your fellow hikers.
Activities: Pot luck style BBQ party while having fun on the water. Club has LIMITED SUP boards, kayaks, canoes. We will share them with club members there too. Feel free to bring your own boats. Please indicate what dishes you plan to bring. So we can have various dishes for all of us to share.
Patricia has a sea kayak, I have an OC-1 and a race SUP board for you to use too. Just get ready to fall into river and enjoy swimming . Jim Newman will be the first one to get on my SUP board :-)
Parking: Club has some limited parking space. Please try to car pool with others to decrease the cars at the parking lot. I will send out detailed information of how to get to the club and how to access to the parking lot.
What to bring: Your boats/PFD if you have; A dish to share and changing clothes if you plan to be out on the water; Sun blocks, sun glasses, bugs spray, swimming suits.
Food/drinks recommended to bring and who will bring.
Jim+Jin: Party supplies: Dishes, napkins, forks/spoons, beef burgers.
Food/drinks needed:
***More beef/veggie/chicken burgers.
*** Hot dogs, sausages.
*** Bread.
***Salad, fruits.
***Dips and chips.
***Your favorite dishes.
***Juice, beer, wine.
***Feel free to bring any thing you like.
