This is an event I do every year and great for kids of all ages! We will meet at the Smithsonian Metro Station on the National Mall at 3:30 PM, then walk around the monuments enjoying the sunset and moonrise, ending up at the National Christmas Tree to get warm by the fire and enjoy some of the performances you can find here:

http://www.nps.gov/whho/national_christmas_tree.htm

As always dinner will occur at the end of our hike. Please dress warmly and be prepared to walk a few miles on a windy, chilly evening. This is a fun, get you in the Christmas Spirit Event, so let's enjoy some good cheer to get us going for the last week before Christmas or whatever Holiday Event you celebrate! Happy Holidays everyone!

This trip was a wonderful event. It was my first meetup with the group and I felt a warm welcome from all. Thanks especially to Jim, for leading the group and introducing new ways at looking at this city!

This DC trip was one my best trip to DC in terms of the meetup..I loved seeing DC at night and in cold. Nice to meet new folks! when Went I returned to the car garage it was closed..had to stay in a DC hotel which I WAS NOT planning to do! My cheapt trip to DC cost me 1/2 of the hotel and 26 dollar parking fee! Something not right about that!

Clear, windy and cold conditions tomorrw, so come prepared. Make sure you do not have any exposed skin and I know I will be wearing long johns as this is a casual, social hike.

Seasonal weather with 50 MPH winds a possibility, so please dress for it including long johns and make sure your face, neck and hands are totally covered. We will be blessed with relatively clear weather, just windy and cold, so be prepared!

Yeah, i don't think I could do that one - have a friend who will be in town. There are others in that time frame that i can go on though.

The metro station has 2 exists: One on the side of the mall, it is across from the Freer Gallery( kind of in the middle of this green area) the other one is on Jefferson Street, which is also across from the Freer, Which exit will you be at?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
