Many nonprofits, campaigns, and social causes are looking at CiviCRM as the solution to their CRM needs. While CiviCRM is an powerful open source system that offers the flexibility to meet the business needs of many organizations, many decision makers do not know where to begin when planning to deploy it. This Meetup session will focus on providing these decision makers and staff tasked with evaluating CiviCRM a framework for planning the CRM implementation for their organization.

During this Meetup session, we will discuss the following items:

1) How to determine if CiviCRM is right for you

2) Evaluating CiviCRM features and components

3) How to spec out a CiviCRM/CMS platform

4) Mapping your existing data structure to CiviCRM's data structure

5) Leveraging the open source community during implementation

Joe McElhaney will be do a presentation on the planning process and strategy used when implementing CiviCRM for the Holy Cross School in Garrett Park, MD.

A special thank you to our friends at Share Our Strength for hosting this month's Meetup. We will be gathering at:
