DC CiviCRM September Meetup

This month's meetup will be a networking and demonstration event. We will do the normal introductions and allow people 10 minutes each to present on a project they are working on or challenge they are facing. If you are interested in presenting, please contact me as soon as possible.
Andrew Hunt will presentation on the much anticipated CiviCRM 3.0 release. The system is in beta testing at the moment. Check out the latest version at http://sandbox.civicr... or install it and help out with the beta testing!
We will also have people in attendance for the NY CiviCRM Developer Camp who will be able to report out on the camp and answer questions about the latest release.
We are postponing the "Migrating from Convio to CiviCRM" session for the time being until a new organizer is found.

Marta VanderStarreMy org is in the investigative stage on CRMs--Andrew's
presentation on v3.0 was very informative and helpful. I came away with more comfort that CiviCRM is a definite possibility, as well as more focused questions to ask in our analysis.
