  The JDSU Test and Measurement Group (Germantown,MD) offers you an exciting opportunity to
apply your software engineering and scripting skills to develop and
manage automated tests for telecom measurement equipment in the Winter
2010/Spring 2011 time frame. Our equipment is used to validate new
telecom network equipment (switches, routers, multi-service platforms),
as well as to verify the integrity of customer services (Voice, Data,
Video). As part of a high energy team you may be responsible for
automated test script design, implementation, test and fault analysis
and you will work closely together with Software and Hardware
development teams as well as the System Acceptance team to ensure the
quality and timely delivery of the product.

To qualify, you should possess the following traits:

- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate education toward a BS in CPE, EE, or CS

- Demonstrated experience developing, documenting and implementing
software using C++, Java or a scripting language as Tcl, Perl, etc.
(required)

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Linux experience preferred

- Telecom experience a plus
