DC Media Makers December 2009 Meeting

Michael Dougherty and Steve Fisher are coming back to DC Media Makers in their post production phase to share "what's up!".

Michael (writer & director) and Steve (co-producer) have created Browncoats: Redemption, a feature-length fan film based in Joss Whedon's Firefly universe, and all profits will benefit charities

And yes! They built a huge space ship for the movie set.

What's going to happen: Screening the Browncoats trailer, sharing on editing, reasons for using an alternate platform for the trailer and the successes of it, what the online community is like, next steps, where they want to be in 1 year with this ... and seeking feedback from DCMM in the process.
