Topic: This month we're going to try something different -- Let's Dojo! A coding dojo is a hands-on coding session with no presentation. Seating space is limited.
ALT.NET is all about mastering the craft of software development. We care about the quality of our work and regularly practice and improve our programming skills, share what we know and learn new things from others. A coding dojo creates a safe environment which is collaborative, inclusive, and non-competitive where beginner and experienced developers can continuously learn and practice their craft without the day to day pressures of their work environment. This is the place for you to try new things like practicing TDD or learning a new language.
In this dojo, we will pair up and practice on a kata with a focus on solving the exercise using pair programming, test-driven development, clean code and refactoring. It's a lot easier than you might think and you are free to choose the programming language of your choice. Just come with your laptop equipped with your favorite programming and automated unit testing environment. Be prepared to pair up, learn, share and have fun!

Also, if you have an idea, game, workshop, or story to share with the group, then please contact the organizer to setup a presentation for a future meeting.
