Introduction to Indoor Rock Climbing Party

If you've never climbed before, this introductory class is perfect for you. In the first half of the class you will enjoy a lesson on safety, followed by supervised climbing by expert instructors. We add "the iBlack Twist" to the experience by providing food and beverages for participants.

The 40-foot tall facility features an impressive display of slabs, steep walls, arches, roofs, towers, and an awesome boulder cave, housed in 8,000 square feet of space. The gym's walls are coated with a sculpted texture finish and are also water-streaked to create a more rock-like feel.

Given this gym's great location (next to a I-395 exit and only 200-yards from the Metro), many people have found this indoor rock climbing gym is as convenient as a traditional health club.

This event is part of Virginia Black Professionals Month and is sponsored by iBlack, The Northern Virginia Urban League Young Professionals Network, and 6 of the leading black professional, social, and community service organizations in Northern Virginia.

Please wear comfortable clothes for climbing.

(200 Yards from the Van Dorn Metro Station on the Blue Line)
