Greetings! I hope the DC meetup went well. I know it was rainy so I hope it cleared up enough for you all to make it! If not, we will have another one next month, no worries! It is starting to get cold (although I checked the weather and saw it may get into the low 70's mid-week!!). Shirlington Park looks like it will be suspended until the spring. I hope you all can make it this Saturday at 5 PM to the Town of Vienna Dog Park! We will not be able to attend. That is moving day to our new place! Hopefully by our next meetup we will be all settled in and back to baking dog treats and attending meetups! Have fun!

A bunch of people have been asking for a DC location and now it's here! At the corner of New Hampshire Avenue and S Street NW (right near Dupont Circle) there is a new state of the art dog park. It is complete with astroturf and a doggie water bowl that when you push the button the bowl fills up and empties when the dog is done so each dog gets fresh water! We will be meeting there Saturday October 17th at 5 PM. Hope to see you there!!

Come join us at the Town of Vienna Dog Park this Saturday! Dog pools and plenty of bulldogs will be present! Update on the DC meetup- I have heard that the park near Dupont Circle (New Hampshire Ave. and S Street NW) has been officially opened! Keep a look out for a meetup scheduled there in October! If a bulldog owner in MD or VA is interested in attending there is a free dog park license tag that you can send in for. Hey everyone! This meetup is Labor day weekend (that is why it is on a Sunday) so hopefully you all will be able to make it! I will, of course, bring a tasty treat to share with the bullies! Update on the DC meetup- The new park in Dupont Circle has still not opened so I am considering Montrose Park. Now this is not a fenced in area but many people go there for off-leash fun with their pups. If anyone has any ideas of a DC dog park they like I would be more than happy to go and check it out. I would like to schedule a meetup in DC- afterall this IS the DC English Bulldog Group! I hope to see you at Shirlington Dog Park Sunday, September 6th at 5 PM! PS- If you could RSVP Yes if you are coming, even if it is last minute. That way I know how many treats to bring!

Hey everyone! The meetup last month at Vienna Dog Park was a great success so I would like to do it again! I will bring the doggie pools again and some new tasty treats of course!! Check out the pictures if you didn't get a chance to go last time, it really is a great location (shaded, mulch covered, fun ramps and of course doggie pools!). Status update on the DC meetup: Bailey, Marco and I tried to visit the new park right near Dupont Circle but it is still under construction. It looks like a really fun place covered with astroturf, I plan to schedule a meetup there when it is complete so stay tuned for that! I hope to see you at Vienna Dog Park on Saturday, August 22nd at 5 PM!!

Hey everyone! I know I have been doing a lot of meetups so far but it's just because I am so excited to take over! I've been having a great time meeting the bulldogs (and their owners!). It seems that there are new people coming everytime, and with the change of locations I feel like we are reaching new people that wouldn't ordinarily come. The ones we have had so far have been very successful and fun for the bullies! Make sure you check out the pictures I posted from both events! I am looking into DC dog parks, so keep a lookout for a meetup at a DC location in the coming weeks! Bailey and I have slowly but surely been traveling to new parks every week to see if they would be fun meetup locations. As always, location suggestions are welcome! I love baking dog treats (as some of you and your bullies have found out!) so I will be bringing a new tasty treat! Make sure you come and say Hi to me and pick up your goodie! Hey everyone! I have been taking a look at who has RSVPed to Saturday's meetup and the poll I put out and I think this location might be good! Don't worry there will be a Shirlington meetup next week or the following week as well and if you can't make this one because it's too far, no worries! Vienna Dog Park is relatively small but it is shaded, mulch covered and has fun ramps and things for the dogs to play on. We took Bailey here and she loved standing on the ramps to be as tall as the other dogs! I will post some pictures of the park later today. They have water there so I am going to bring doggie pools so the bullies have a place to play and cool off! As always any suggestions for meetup locations are more than welcome! I am slowly but surely scouting out all the dog parks in the area to see which ones would be fun for the bullies! I passed out some homemade dog cookies on Saturday, I am not sure everyone got one though. It was very chaotic but I tried to say hello to everyone and grab them before they left to give them a cookie. This time I will make sure to catch everyone! I hope to see everyone at the Vienna Dog Park this Saturday, July 25th at 5 p.m.!! Hello! I am the new meetup organizer, Kimberly! First let me say that we all appreciate Bacon and Llyod (Rick and Kristin) for taking charge of the meetup for the last year, great job! As your new organizer I am not going to change much. I am thinking about doing more meetups in other locations, but don't worry, Shirlington Park will always be a monthly location! Suggestions for locations or meetup improvements are more than welcome!! We're switching back to the Shrilington Dog Park, now that nicer weather is here for a few months.
