HELLO MY DCF's!!
After having a great summer break..WE ARE BACK!!!Prepare to celebrate our 2nd YEAR ANNIVERSARY 
with us!
Our June meetup on "HOW TO GET NOTICED" was very interesting thanks to Jacqui Davis and Anna Birdsall who did an amazing job!. It also brought out some of our new fashionistas with awesome ideas that we are looking forward to incorporate this fall.

TIME TO CELEBRATE!!!
***There will be a $5 networking fee. 100% of the networking fees will be donated by the The DC Fashionista Group to The DC Fashionista Foundation which will provide Fashion Scholarships and Micro-Lending to fashion entrepreneurs in third world countries through www.kiva.org
DRESS CODE IS FASHIONABLE AND CHIC - No tennis shoes, no athletic wear allowed

Please bring your portfolio and/or pictures or whatever shows what you do or want to do in this industry. If you just love fashion and you are not in the industry yet but would like to be, then please share that with us so we can help you get started!!!!

Cool Venue! I liked the atmosphere. Kinda expensive. Not as big a turn out as at 14th. Would love a venue where we could get food!!

This was my first meetup and I must say that it was run very well.
I really enjoyed meeting people in the DC area that are into fashion as much as I. I received several business cards and really look forward to working with some of the people that I met and to the next meeting.

I was impressed at the friendly and creative crowd that was there. This is my first "group" organized anything and I am pleased that I began with this one. The event was well done and organized and a perfect atmosphere to talk, network and have fun.
