Let's burn some calories!!! We're going to hike the Billy Goat Trail section A in preparation for the more challenging Old Rag Mountain this Fall! This will be a circuit hike of approximately 4.8 miles. We'll start at the trail head from inside the parking area. We'll keep a moderate speed with stops as needed.
The trail is challenging in some areas. Keep your eyes on your feet when walking ! Some portions require you to use your hands to climb over boulders, and in one instance, up the 40 ft rock staircase, so be sure you’re up for that.
Bring: Camera, Sunscreen, lots of Water, Snacks, Friendly attitude.
