Thanks so much to Sarah and her BF for hosting us last night in Alexandria. You guys did a great job!

Hi all, your fearless organizer and co-organizer are announcing a new Meetup for The MD/DC/VA 20s to 40s Boardgames Meetup Group!

What: 2nd annual Oscar Game Night in Greenbelt

When: February 22,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: NOTE - it is NOT necessary to RSVP "NO" if you can not make it. If you RSVP YES then change your mind, PLEASE come back and change it to no!!

After last year's Oscar Game Night was a hit, Erica has decided to make it an annual event. She'll be rolling out the red carpet for 10 Game Nighters to come watch the telecast, with some home-made movie-themed games to make watching the show fun even for those who hate awards shows. If you want to play Taboo or Balderdash, this probably isn't the Game Night for you. But if you want to change things up and play Movie Trivia, Oscar Bingo, and other related games, come join the festivities.

Dress: Whatever you please. You can go tux and gowns, T-shirt, and jeans, or dress as a character from any Oscar nominated film in history.

Food is potluck, similarly with a theme drawing from Oscar nominees (a Nixon/Frostie or something with Milk?)

For those who care, Erica does have a small people-loving dog (who she promises not to forget to feed before the party this year).

This Game Night is only Metro-accessible for those who don't mind a $10 cab ride from the Greenbelt Metro (no buses on Sundays unfortunately). Full Address and Driving Directions will be e-mailed to all the Yes folks a few days before the event. If you get shut out, get yourself on the Wait list and if someone bows out you can get on the ultra exclusive hollywood guest list!
