Everybody's IRISH on St. Patrick's Day!! Join us for this festive and fun day when everyone in downtown Washington goes GREEN.

We'll beat the crowds at the Irish Channel Pub at 10:30am for a delicious pint of Irish beer (Guinness, Harp or Smithwick's), some pre-parade food (not included) and some lively Irish music!! Around noon, we'll take a FREE shuttle bus to the parade route on Constitution Ave and enjoy this awesome spectacle of shamrocks, dancers and good times!

These were some cute Irish girls dancing in last year's parade. Here are some more pics from the 2012 St. Patrick's Day parade in DC.

Did I mention that EVERYONE is Irish on St. Patrick's Day? Even President Barack Obama - though, as it turns out, Obama actually IS Irish on his mother's side. :-) He surprised guests at the Dubliner's pub last year....but why would he go to the same pub again this year? Just in case he goes for the Irish Channel this year, we'll be there!!!

While downing our drinks and enjoying some Irish food and song, we'll get to know each other and do introductions. In addition to the delicious Irish brews on tap, typical Irish fare will be available for an early lunch for those who are hungry, lamb stew, shepherd's pie, fish and chips and the rest are all on the menu.
Don't miss this amazing once-a-year cultural spectacle right here in DC!
