I was born in New York City. I came down to Baltimore to go to college. Then, I dodged the draft by joining the Army. I got out of the Army after the Civil War. I have lived in Maryland longer than I lived in NYC, so I guess I am from Maryland now.
There are so many to choose from. If I hafta choose one, I guess... hmmmm.... ummmm...
Drink beer with hiking and history buffs.
Very interesting events, attended by interesting people. The post-walk staff meeting is wonderful.
Hi Bruce, welcome to Healthy Happy Hour. And congratulations on becoming a Marylander. I look forward to meeting you at one of our events. Really glad your fitbit likes you, mine does too.
Hi Bruce, thanks for joining the Conversation! All viewpoints welcomed! We have book discussions, author talks, Saturday night fellowship dinners, and meditation groups. Join anything that looks interesting and meaningful! Glad you can come to the Contemplative Prayer Service tomorrow--some people really swear by it! Come anytime you can make it. Best, Glenn the organizer
Hi Bruce, welcome to the hiking and history group. Your profile says you're a DC native, so I hope you can share some of your experience in local history. If you think that certain places or events would be good for the group to visit, please post a suggestion on the website.
Hi Bruce Welcome to the Christian Book Club Brunch! We look forward to having fellowship with you as we discuss the book of the month and of course snack a bit! We look forward to seeing you on August 13, 2011, (as you RSVP) when we discuss "Leaving" by Karen Kingsbury and getting your insights. Of course, you are welcome to attend in July 2011 or anytime that is conducive to your schedule.
Have a blessed day!
