Singing Butchers? In North Dakota?

In June, we'll read Master Butcher's Singing Club by Louise Erdrich. As a reviewer said, "If anyone can make a butcher sing, it's Erdrich." Erdrich melds her German and American Indian heritage with her love of the sparse, open North Dakota land to create an historically rich, character-filled story.

I had a great time! Even though I did not finish Master Butchers Singing Club by Louise Erdrich, I thoroughly enjoyed the lively discussion.
