Patapsco for beginner - somewhat less beginner (i.e., everyone).

Since the ride today was rained out, I'm going to ride Patapsco on Sunday. All are welcome. Pace will be whatever the slowest rider wants, especially if the slowest rider is me.

The usual spot, black impreza. 4fourty-three; 5thirty-five, twenty, twenty-one.
The loop I usually do is around 14 miles, familiar to regulars. It hits most of the good stuff on both sides of the river. We can extend or shorten if there is demand.

Just picked up my wheel from David. I've a feeling that it was leaning against the right side of my SUV when I pulled out of the parking space. The rotor probably was on the top side when the wheel fell over. It did not sustain any damage. Seems in true. The only thing I had to do was spread the front brake pads. Must have touched the brake while the wheel was not mounted.

Thanks for looking out for me. You guys know that us old fellas need some support evvery now and again.

Very sorry to miss the ride, the folks, and exploring some new trail. Went to the wrong Patapsco (Rockburn) decided to ride there since I didn't have directions to CCBC. Hope everyone had a good ride.

Thanks for the fun ride. I don't have to get a new truckload of top soil this Spring since I sprayed all the mud off my bikebike

    Sorry for the timing mishap

Wow ... just when I thought the day could not get worse!!!!! Opened the truck to remove my bike and .... "Where is my front wheel???" and "insert expletives here". Well all's well. Lucky David lives close by ... Same town, even.

I was wondering what the back story was to that front wheel. Glad it was something simple and nothing crazy :)

After bailing and getting to a paved section, found my phone to be dead. Made it back anyway. This was just a bad day but could have been worse. I could've gotten lost. Hope the rest of the ride was fun for u-all.

If you enter from Collegiate drive, at the top of the hill there's a stop sign at Campus; make a left there (watch out for the sneaky speedbump). The first parking lot on the left; where the tennis courts are. You'll see us.

I edited the map, the drop pin is now right on the right spot.

Well, things are "loosening up". I have gone from a attending to not attending to (now) a definite maybe. Nothing like being able to make up my mind. Hopefully I will be able to attend. I really like Ptap even though the hills kick my touché.
