We're a community of mountain bikers from all over the DC area including Maryland and Virginia. Skills of our members range from those familiar with basic braking and shifting to expert racers.

For those new to mountain biking (or just interested in trying it out) we hope to have beginner rides and clinics to help you really start to enjoy all the great biking the mid-atlantic has to offer. For intermediate and advanced riders,  we hope to provide lot's of opportunities to ride and explore all the great parks we have nearby.

We are just getting going this year under "new management" and hope to great year of riding for everyone in the group (at all levels). We will update this area as ideas start to pop-up, but as a starter list here are some of the things we are thinking about for 2011.

• scheduled group rides all over the area
• a place to quickly find folks for last minute rides
• calendar of races and other mountain biking events in the area
• skills clinics
• maintenance clinics
• happy hours (my personal favorite :)
