A walk-about in an urban jungle among the large collection of wild animals at the DC Zoo. Learn photo techniques for creating photo safari shots at the zoo. Creative composition techniques and utilizing depth of field and telephoto compression effects for best results. Expect a walking photo tour while carying photo gear. Entrance to zoo is free. Metro Red line is a block away. If you drive, public parking is available for $4/hr. Meet at the front entrance gate.
Highly Recommended Equipment/gear: 300mm or longer telephoto lens and tripod, comfortable walking shoes, light wind/rain jacket
