The HonFest is a celebration of the beehive hairdo and traditional Baltimore or as the locals call it Bawlmer culture. There should be no shortage interesting characters and festivities to photograph.
This will be my first Honfest, and I'm looking forward to it like I hope many of you are. I plan to get there early, so I can get a feel for things. The site lists parking available at the Johns Hopkins parking garage at the corner of 37th and Keswick St. If any of you are familiar with other parking locations, your ideas are welcome. As far our meeting point, the map shows a Royal Farms Market at the corner of 36th & Roland Ave. It appears to be the best landmark for finding each other around 11:00AM. I'm sure some will get there later, and we'll get separated as we each see different subjects that catch our interest, so I plan to swing back by the Royal Farms at 12:30PM for any who want to regroup.
