Introduction
I am a writer and photographer who works in both film (mostly transparencies) and digital. I also collect old cameras, which is either a hobby or a personality disorder.

Regardless of your skill or experience level, if you are interested in photography, this is a GREAT group. The several meetups I've attended have been well attended, well organized, and fun. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and there is a wide range of folks, from photo newbies to experienced shooters, and from amateurs to pros. Best of all, this is a whole room of people who will not get bored talking about pixels, film speeds, Photoshop, shutter speeds, f-stops, lenses, bodies, formats, the works! You can satisfy all your photo geek jonesing without boring your significant other, family members, friends, and co-workers to tears! And Ken is a friendly, cool, reliable organizer. If you've been bitten by the shutter bug, my deepest condolences. Now join this group and admit your addiction like the rest of us!
