So....I have received the go-ahead from the president at my organization to open up the use of our conference room here in Rosslyn Arlington VA (still fairly central to the metro area) for a once-a-month auxiliary python/development meeting.I want this to be complimentary to what is already being done... but am motivated in no small part by my own desire to attend python related events whilst sticking to my mutually-exclusive guns with the another development community who has their own meetup on, you guessed it, the first tuesday of every month. Since I've seen that the python meetups often have waiting lists, it seemed an automatic win to offer a spill-over event that I could both attend and help load-balance the community, so to speak. That said, I have some questions of the community. Should this be offered in tandem or as part of this python meetup, or be distinct? And regardless of that, and for those who likewise aren't getting to attend as much as they'd like... what are typical times of the month that would work best for you? The first tuesday of the month is obviously the only black-out date; caveats are that anything would have to start after 7pm on an weekday evening (which doesn't seem unusual 'round these parts.)
Be well, all!--~Joshua Eric Turcotte
