Walp, I shall do some investigation re: logistics of guests in our conference room here in Rosslyn (a short walk down the hill from the Rosslyn metro station); I have a temptation to load balance the typical python meetup with one half a month later each month. The third tuesday (since tuesdays appear to be popular) until it seems any other time has reached some kind of consensus.
Brock, you guys have a pretty nifty guest wireless system... could you point me in that direction?
And yeah... PyCon talk videos would be a pretty useful impetus for launching discussion by way of getting on our feet here. I found the concept of compositional objects v. inheritance worth further exploration, for example. I'm also interested personally interested in NLTK, genetic algorithm explorations of human content analysis, and resolution modeling. (Thinking of building an artificial politician from my raspberry pi.)
