Acknowledged;  This vote counts for a lot since it's, like, the first.  =)

Just wanted to raise my hand as someone who also has problems with Tuesdays: ongoing obligation for Tuesday nights, and even when that group breaks for summer or winter, it always seems to collide with my holidays, vacations, etc.  2nd Wednesdays?  Weekend would probably work for me, too.

Wow, okay, suddenly more space offered.  As for alternate meetups, I'm not against em (I know a game dev one I attend is also looking for a more permanent hope), but I have secured permission for a once-a-month thing... if there's not enough demand for a pure python aux-meetup time for the particularly enthusiastic and/or can't make the first tuesday event, then I could see alternating.  Kind of a wait and see kinda thing.  What is it about tuesdays that has so many folk using 'em for meetups, anyways?
