DCRug Hack Night

  • Dec 19, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • Optoro Chinatown

Let's meet up and hack together. I don't have specific plans for this night other than that we'll all be around and able to hack with each other. I'm sure there will be people with projects to work on and people willing to help more junior people level up.

We'll probably go for a few hours or until people take off.

We'll probably have food and beer, at least beer ;)

We'll be hosting it at Optoro's Chinatown office right across from the metro at 7th and H. There should be someone stationed in the lobby to let you up, if you get stuck tweet @jszmajda and I'll get you.

Hey Guys! I used to go to DCRUG meetups, I'm actually in SF right now.

I wanted to extend a invitation for you guys to hack a lil something over the holidays if you feel it!

@Joshua Is it expected that people are to work on public, open-source projects? I was planning on hacking on a pretty embryonic project as an excuse to take a break from JS...

Oh yeah you don't have to work on something public, just trying to coordinate for those who are :)

Hey all, I'm really excited about this event Thursday, I hope you can make it out!

I've put together a quick doc outlining the projects people will be working on. I've seeded it with a few beginner-friendly projects people can work on regardless of whatever else is going on.

If you want to work on a project on the list, please add your name below the project. If you want to help people as they work on the project, bold your name.

If you have a project to add, please do so!

I'm sure this won't be an exhaustive list, but it should give us all an idea of what we can expect :)

If you're not a beginner, please consider helping out the beginners who will be attending by putting your name in bold on one of the beginner projects. One of the best things about our community is that we help each other learn and grow, and I'm sure Thursday won't be any different!

Thanks, see you Thursday in Chinatown!
