I'd say Yes, Jeff (The Manager) is cool, and there will be lots of people new to 4.0 there. That's what these events are for. I learned how to play 4.0 at one of those events last Year, a Games Day. I went from that to play in a 4.0 campaign all summer at Game Master's in North Hills. You can make a lot of 4.0 gaming contacts at those events, or find people that play other games. I found a star wars player at a Games Day at Geekadrome in Brookline. Best of luck, and welcome to PGH D&D.

Since our esteemed Organizer has beat me to the first post, I will just second what he said. I will also mention the possibility of you attending the next Meetup at Phantom of the Attic. Could be a good way to get started.

Hello, welcome to Pittsburgh, and the PGH D&D meetup group. Let me or one of the organizers know if you need anything. We'll help you to try and find a group. Do you have a preference for what edition of D&D? They all exist here. Plus other non D&D Games, like Conspiracy X. I also know of groups that play things like Aces & Eights, a wild west game, or Traveller. - Etarnon
