If I am used to diving in warm saltwater, (2mm jumpsuit with 8-10 lbs weight), how much will the weight requirement change for cold freshwater with a drysuit?

I'd say come prepared with twice that. I weigh about 200 lbs, and in a 3mm wet suit and in Florida Keys waters I need about 12-14 lbs of weight. But with a dry suit and in cold quarry waters, I needed about 20 lbs. I felt a little weighted down to be honest, but with dry suits its ALWAYS better to be a little overwighted than under for two reasons. 1. You can always compensate it with your BC (or dry suit) and 2. People who dive dry suits like to be overwheighted because it lets them put more air in their suits which helps keep you warmer.
