This is the big one that we did back in July.
175 Mile loop out west, some of the best riding roads around the NOVA area. Snickerville Turnpike, 601 over Mount Weather, Down south of Front Royal, this is a very very good day out and about.
The pace is brisk, we averaged 50mph last time out. Chris Gough was fine on his 125cc Buddy last time out, so yes, at least 125cc is required and have a heavy throttle hand.
We will meet at Buzz 8am and roll out at 9am sharp. Its a long day out riding, so better to start earlier. I am posting the route below, but I am going to run it in reverse for the Fall Edition, so I will tweak the route on the Harley Route Planner for a backwards run.
The trees should be changing colors this time of year, so expect some really great sights for this ride. Lunch will be had someplace around Flint Hill VA.
Again, plan a full day for this, we left 9am last time and I got home around 5pm-ish. Its a good day of scootering.
As always, have your scoot in top condition, have a back up plan incase you have any issues so you can get home.... blah blah... you guys have all heard me before.
Ill most likely be leading on the 250cc Ruckus.
