Hi Vanessa. The organizer, Jon B, said, "Members are free to suggest topics. You may even debate on which topic to debate! If you cannot decide on one, don't worry. I have plenty of topics each meeting, from Energy and environment, to education and economics (and that's just the E-words?!)"

Hi. I'm Firdavs and I am from Tajikistan. I used to play British Parliamentary debates for 3 months in my home country and achieved good results. I would like to join such a public event here in New York. After reading this post I didn't get the format of the upcoming debates. Please, link me to some materials to read about the format of your debates, regulations and other conditions? I will be pleased to participate in your debates and try my best in critical thinking. TIA

For those of you who are wondering, We do not follow a strict debate format, but loosely follow Parliamentary debate. It is not BP, though. Cheers!
