DOC- In the beginning
The birth of this group regrettably happened on May 2, 2010 in response to a catastrophe of which we will never fully recover. On April 20, 2010 the Deepwater Horizon exploded and oil began gushing into the gulf. Once already a tough balancing act of our marshes and bayous’ and the wildlife they cradle is now one of the worst ecological disasters of our time. Our pristine wildlife is in danger and it is up to us to help the helpless. This group was created to rally the masses together and protect what we can, to be one voice as advocates and ambassadors of the natural world, to one day show future generations that one person can make a difference.
