Main Presentation:Building a Web Analytics Tool with MarkLogic 4.2

Eric Bloch will walk through how to use Application Builder and Information Studio to build up a tool for analyzing web logs.

About Eric:
He is MarkLogic's community director and has been building cutting-edge, high-performance software products for over 20 years. He is an open-source contributor, has written software that's been used by 10s of millions of people, is named on 4 U.S. patents, and has held technical and managerial positions at Oracle, SGI, IronPort (purchased by Cisco in 2007), and Clearwell Systems. He has dual graduate degrees from Stanford in computer science and sociology and an undergraduate degree from Brown in math and computer science. He's currently responsible for MarkLogic's developer community programs, events, software projects, and itself. In addition, he oversees the ongoing operations of MarkMail ( On occasion, he plays trombone for the Tribal Blues Band.
