Here are the projects I'm using to get real-time feedback while editing html in emacs.

Grab mozrepl extension for firefox here:
In firefox Tools->MozRepl->Start

Add this to your emacs init

Open your html/css file and then
C-c C-v to open file in firefox
enable moz-reload minor mode
M-x moz-reload-mode

From this point on every char you type will save your html file, and send a reload command to firefox via mozrepl. Move firefox next to emacs window, a separate monitor, or just increase transparency in emacs
(C->) and put firefox under it.

Happy coding.
