Gregory,

I just found this in the mail archives awaiting approval.  I apologize--I don't regularly check that.

Thank you for your very thoughtful and eloquent comments.  It is Law of Attraction in action that I found this gentle, personal reminder today!

Love,
Barbara

Thanks Barbara. This is very good and one of my favorite spiritual principles. I have always thought of it as the balance of action and inaction, which is acting when then is something for you to do and being still when there is nothing for you to do. In either case. it is essentially effortless because the action is in alignment with what is already in motion, and the stillness is with a sense of calm and assurance. If we are attuned with Life, including our inner guidance, we know when to act and when to be still.

All the best,
Gregory

Subject: [abrahamhicks-215] Abraham's View on Taking Action

Inspired by the Abraham quote yesterday, I wanted to respond to Steve's comments about our taking action at the last meeting. I have included several quotes from Abraham here that address action.  Basically they say that if we move on something at all, it should be inspired action.  Steve told a story about Bill Gates' taking action.  It is my belief that Bill Gates was in the Vortex, and his action was truly inspired!

In your action, you lose sight of the vision, you lose sight of your trust in the process, and you just bang around in a sense of futility. Hold the vision and trust that the Universe will acclimate to your vision. Hold the vision and trust the process.

--- Abraham

Your action has nothing to do with your abundance! Your abundance is a response to your vibration. Of course, your belief is part of your vibration. So if you believe that action is part of what brings your abundance, then you've got to unravel that.

Your work is to go forth into this physical environment looking for things that are a vibrational match to joy, connecting to Source Energy, and then following with the inspired action.

If you believe that you must work hard in order to deserve the money that comes to you, then money cannot come to you unless you do work hard. Financial success, or any other kind of success, does not require hard work. It does require alignment of thought. You simply cannot offer negative thought about things that you desire and then make up for it with action or hard work. When you learn to direct your own thoughts, you will discover the true leverage of Energy alignment.

Hard work is not the path to Well-Being. Feeling good is the path to Well-Being. You don't create through action; you create through vibration. And then, your vibration calls action from you.

With much love, Barbara
