This month's meetup will be a discussion meeting focused on the topic of personally changing one's approach to astrology over time. Last month we looked at the topic of macrocosmic, historical changes in how astrology has been practiced and philosophically viewed over time; this month we will take it down to the individual level. How have your own approaches to astrology changed since you first began studying it, if at all, and what are your thoughts on those changes? This could include things like techniques used, traditions followed, philosophical views, or client practices.

If you have some time to reflect on this beforehand, you might think about some of the following questions: What precipitated any changes you made (dissatisfaction with current approach, stumbling upon new material, following someone else's example, etc.)? Have you ever had any client or friend feedback when interpreting charts that has caused you to change any approaches? What are your views now towards practices or approaches that you used to follow? How have any changes you've made in approach interacted with your views on the goal(s) of astrological study and practice, if at all?

Everyone is encouraged, although not required, to come and share their experiences and thoughts with the group, since this will be a purely discussion-based meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!

There is no fee for the meeting, although donations of 3 to 5 dollars are appreciated, as they help to cover the $20 a month fee for hosting this page on Meetup.com. Any additional money collected will go towards future speakers.
