Superstitious Social at Brooklyn's at the Pepsi Center

Summer is almost over and it's Friday the 13th so....why not?

We all know and love the Hub but it's good to get out and mingle around town, have a drink, eat and be merry. We can utilize this time to talk about up coming events, things members want to see out of this group and just have some good clean fun.

Parking: should be free in Pepsi Center Lot A, which is in front of Brooklyn's just south off Chopper Circle. If there happens to be a parking attendant, just tell them you're attending an event at Brooklyn's.

Please only RSVP "Yes"...this just gives us an idea of how many folks from our group are coming.

Cash: We usually ask for separate checks - either for individuals or by table.  Either way, having cash will probably make your life easier.

Just for fun here is some interesting superstitions:

It just occurred to me that we should have a ladder for people to walk under. I'd say also have mirrors to break, butt he janitor might not approve. ;-) I have the ladder if anyone can pick me up/drop me off with it. I'm at University and Dry Creek (close to C-470).

How about relating an unusual superstition that you may have heard of, which might be in your family?

LOL luckily my family is relatively superstition-free, but I actually have a black cat. His name is Vader. Too bad he would fit on a scooter just as well as a ladder. :-/
