Eudaimonia VIII - "What's Next?"

Greetings all,

It's been a long time since we did an Eudaimonia (if you're not familiar with Eudaimonia keep reading) - high time we got back to it.  In the past we've discussed community, fears, practical ideas for leading a better life, drama avoidance, happiness, etc.  For the 8th installment of this popular event we will discuss what's next for each of us to make our lives and ourselves better.  If you love your life then come share what's great about it.  If there are gaps or you're just not having enough fun, come get ideas on what's next for you.

Our Eudaimonia meetups are designed to get atheists talking about how to live a great life. We start with a short ppt presentation then launch into small group discussions.  Since we don't believe in an afterlife, I think we can all agree how important it is to make the one we have count.  At Eudaimonia we explore this concept and share ideas on how to live a great, fun and productive life.

Please come join us at The Secular Hub for a stimulating and practical discussion with your fellow heathens.  FYI - the Hub's normal Sunday Coffee and Community will begin 1 hour earlier (10am) - everyone is welcome!

Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.  The Hub has snacks and drinks available for purchase and may also have pizza for sale (depends on how many people come).

This is the "like-minded" and "community" most atheists desire - come check it out for yourself!

Hope you can join us!

People are very open; I need to get used to that. Refreshing. This was a first time at any atheist meetup. I'll be back.

We didn't stick to the topic suggested, and it didn't matter. Very good conversations, a lot of bright people at my table!

Now that I fully realize that this is the only life I have I want to make the most of it.

Since leaving religion, I have realized that this life is not rehearsal for something else. I had been counting on Christianity's "Lotto Afterlife" (streets of gold, perfected body) for a second chance, since I was so royally mucking-up this existence. This is right up my alley.
