Greetings heathens,

Now that the holidays are done, it's high time we like-minded heathens get together with our own kind to eat, drink and socialize...just as natural laws intended.  In addition to good times with good people, we'll also give everyone an update on The Secular Hub (our very own meeting space which we JUST leased!), the new organizer for the Denver Atheist Meetup, Atheists for Humanity (AFH) and the potential FFRF Denver Chapter!  I'll also give those who are interested an update on "Aenamus: Silent Blood" (if you have no idea what this is just ask me).

***Change of location: we'll be meeting at the other Brooklyn's which is just south of Sports Authority Field (formerly known as Invesco Field).  This Brooklyn's sits beneath the main Colfax Ave we all know (i.e. there are TWO Colfaxs).  There are two ways to get there.  Route 1: from Colfax exit onto Federal going north to the first light (W. 17th) and take a right onto Mile High Stadium Circle.  Bottom of the hill at the stop sign take another right.  Stay on this street until you go under Colfax...then take your first left onto W. Colfax Ave.  Brooklyn's will be 1 block up on your right.  (Click here for the map)

Route II: Colfax exit Federal going SOUTH.  Take the first left onto W. Howard Place.  Take a left on Morrison Road.  Brooklyn's will be a few blocks up on your right.***

We usually ask for separate tabs, but I still recommend bringing cash...makes life easier.

This is a great opportunity for those new to the group to come out and mingle with other like-minded people.  The more the merrier!

**Please be sure to keep up with your RSVP so we can give Brooklyn's an accurate head count***

I hope to see mucho godless heathens come out to drink and bond with the rest of the tribe.

Brought my daughter this time. She really enjoyed making new friends outside her professional sphere. Yes!

Curious as to the typical meeting format. Is there a structure or is it more of an eat, drink, and shoot the shit?

      Yes, yes, yes and YES!

Did you know that in Denver you can join the mile hi club while the aircraft is still on the ground? But what fun is that?

"Sports Authority Field (formerly known as Invesco Field)" and supposedly still known as (at) Mile High Stadium, which I still like to encourage. I would hate to see the Mile High club disappear completely.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
