I've been a non-believer since early childhood, despite being raised in a church-going family, the catechism indoctrination, and confirmation into the Catholic Church. None of it made sense to me, especially the virgin birth story. I walked away from that mythology after my 18th birthday. At some point in the past 10 years, I realized that it was OK to consider myself an Atheist. Openly declaring to the world that I was a non-believer was borne out of the need to push back against an increasingly non-secular society. I really don’t want to hear your proclamation of love for your imaginary friend, and you shouldn't force this delusion on me.
My goal is to meet and socialize with like-minded people.
I'm a good listener, and I make a mean cherry pie. Actually, I'm pretty damn good at baking, and cooking in general. Lamb of god anyone?
Atheist, boring engineer type, quantity: 1
Good people grounded firmly in reality.
