Introduction
Greetings! I've been attending regularly for a while now, and have recently assumed the role of organizer, with the hope of helping the group grow and evolve to best serve its members. You may call me "Ferris" or "Your Malevolency", your choice.
What factors influenced you to emerge as a non-believer in a believing society?
Useful explanations break ideas into simpler ideas, such that each can be understood. Explaining nature by invoking a deity leads one down a path of ever increasing complexity. The deity must be explained, and so must its explanation, ad infinitum.
What do you hope to get out of this group?
A sense of community.
What do you feel you can offer the group?
I hope to facilitate the organisation of the group, and to act on feedback from members.

"I'm a scientist/engineer hybrid with a mischievous sense of humor and a thick creative streak. I got tired of hanging out with the brainwashed masses, and decided to seek out some like-minded Denverites."
