I am on the board of directors of the Boulder Atheists, and would like to network with other groups in the area.
I have been an atheist all my life, but was somewhat closeted until I joined the Boulder Atheists several years ago. That changed my life.
I would like to Network with other atheists, and attend activities to expand my knowledge of the atheist community.
Possibly, I could help combine activities between the Boulder Atheists and the Denver Atheists.
Just wanted to let you know what we're up to here in Oxford.
We've started a branch of the Sunday Assembly, a "church" for secularists. It isn't a church at all, really. But it seems a really good way to get folk together for good times, song, and a few nice thoughts and community.
More details at sundayassembly.com.
Well thanks for joining Tom! It will be fun to have a Member At Large in Colorado :) Look forward to meeting you on the 10th. If you are still in town on the 12th, please consider coming to our monthly meeting at Mijares in Pasadena.
It looks like I will not to be able to present at the monthly meeting on the 22nd after all. At the end of my work contracts, my schedule becomes a bit unpredictable and that's why I was interested in presenting sooner. As it is, I came across a job offer I cannot pass up for my next contract (not set in stone yet, but close) and I'll be moving on the 21st.
Hopefully we'll still be able to make it to the Shindig this weekend, but I don't know yet if I'll have to work on Sunday.
Welcome to Atheist Community of Colorado Springs!
Thank you so much Tom! I was able to reserve 2 tickets. I'm so excited for Monday!
Please reconsider letting me attend the meetups because I am in School now in longmont.
Tom, thanks for supporting the inaugural Colorado Secular conference. I appreciated having the opportunity to meet you and it's my hope that we'll see Boulder Atheists (or at least some group) carry out another Colorado Secular Conference next year in a new location and with a new list of speakers.
