Seghesio Family Vineyards With 300 acres in preeminent Zinfandel growing regions, Seghesio Family Vineyards produces award-winning wines that honor the history of Sonoma and the Seghesio family. Sonoma (Alexander Valley/Dry Creek) In 1886 Edoardo Seghesio left his family’s vineyards in Piedmont, Italy for a new life in America. Like many immigrants he was drawn to Northern Sonoma County to follow his passion for winemaking. In 1895 Edoardo and wife Angela purchased a modest home in Alexander Valley and planted the surrounding 56 acres to Zinfandel –now famously known as the Home Ranch. But it was not until 1983 that fourth generation family winemaker, Ted Seghesio bottled the first wines under the Seghesio label. His cousin Pete Seghesio joined the business in 1986 and in 1993 control was turned over to the younger generation. They turned their focus to the vineyards, eliminating all buyt the wines produced with the grapes they owned or farmed.
Chamisal Vineyards Expertly crafts wines that reflect the diverse clonal selection and unique location of this historic, 80-acre vineyard, the first planted in California's Edna Valley. Chamisal Vineyards is the first vineyard planted in Edna Valley in 1973. The quality story begins with a mixture of calcareous soils and a cool climate due to it’s proximity only seven miles from the coast near San Luis Obisbo, both ideal ingredients for high quality Chardonnay and Pinot. The 80 acre vineyard is the home of over 10 different clones of these two varieties, which set the stage for complexity in the wines. It is no surprise that the highest rated wine from the entire Central Coast was produced hear (2006 “Califa” Pinot Noir, 96 pts. WA). Today New Zealand born winemaker Fin du Fintasse, continuesto produce world class wines of distinction with character that reflects the magic of Edna Valley Pine Ridge Vineyards has been crafting wines in Napa Valley's most renowned appellations for more than thirty years, building a reputation for quality by eagerly challenging convention. Produces classically styled, meticulously crafted wines from 225 acres of estate vineyards across five appellations in the Napa Valley. Gary Andrus, founder of Pine Ridge winery in Napa Valley’s Stag’s Leap District, had a vision that followed the model of Bordeaux’s Premiere Cru wineries:Lafitte, Latour, Mouton, Margaux and Haut-Brion. With five vineyard sites in Napa’s best sub-districts, each meticulously farmed, the style of the wines are decidely based in elegance and balance. From the famed lemon-cream Dijon Clone Chardonnay to classic Stag’s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon to the refreshing and ever popular Chenin Blanc Viognier, each Pine Ridge wine ranks high among all peers. ForeFront by Pine Ridge Vineyards Challenges the status quo with a modern approach to sourcing and blending to create wines that are approachable and intriguing. These classic varietals are made by Pine Ridge winemaker, Michael Beaulac. Michael employs the flexibility of the winery’s outstanding vineyard sources to make the best possible wine each vintage. The wines exemplify value and each of them delivers far more flavor and style than their price would indicate.
