Just a reminder that we moved our next event to Sunday August 1, 2010 at 5:30pm to better accommodate people's schedules. The new event is at Earl's Park Meadows with Australian Wines paired with passed appetizers. These are top wines from the Moet Chandon group portfolio (no yellow tail in this list!) Please be on time so you don't miss a wine or appetizer! Dress: Dress to Impress Summer Casual/Country Club Casual to Dressy Casual and comfortable for the weather (No cutoffs or flip flops). We typically get a big turnout of[masked] on Saturday and Sunday evenings so we are hoping we'll get similar response for this event. RSVP Now Please! We really need for folks to RSVP in advance and start making payment on Eventbrite so we can host this event.
WEATHER: Although we have advertised this as a patio party, for everyone's comfort and enjoyment the party will be moved indoors if we have temperatures over 90 degrees.

Green Point Pinot Chardonnay

Cape Mentelle Cab/ Shiraz
Green Point is owned by the Moet Chandon group with the wines from the Yarra Valley, just a short drive from Melbourne, the winery attracts more than 110,000 visitors a year.
Archetype is owned by the Diageo Wines Estate group (a Napa company). The wines are from the Barossa Valley. Barossa is located in South Australia, approximately 70 kms (1.25 hours drive) north-east of Adelaide the states capital city.
Cape Mentelle http://www.capementelle.com.au/ is in a landscape similar to Bordeaux in the Margaret River region of Australia (SW corner of Australia) a few miles from the beach. The winery has won many of Australia's most prestigious wine trophies with ratings in the 90s for many of their wines http://www.capementelle.com.au/reveal.html
