Denver Wine Meetup Members:
RSVP Now! Our next event is our end of Summer Wine Party with Highly Rated Chateau St. Michelle on September 14, 2011, a little over TWO weeks away and we have a holiday weekend in between now and our event, so I am sending out another reminder email. Please start signing up now. Chateau St. Michelle has been rated one of the "top wineries" by Wine and Spirits magazine. They consistently have 90 point wines as rated by Wine Spectator, Wine and Spirits and Wine Enthusiast.
It's the 90 point club event! We have a wonderful line up of 90+ rated wines from a selection of different Chateau St. Michelle "single vineyards", posted below and on the meetup. This is a unique opportunity to try wines from the selected single vineyards and we'll have Robert Dakovich Regional Manager and Jarrod Schott from Chateau St. Michelle pouring and answering your questions. In addition, we will be at one of the top Italian restaurants in Denver, Il Fornaio. Hopefully on the patio (if we have cooperative weather). Each of the wines will be paired with fabulous appetizers. And of course, we have a wine social mixer with[masked] in attendance. If you have never been to one of our events, it's real easy to make new friends and meet people in our group. Please forward the event to your friends!
What: Wednesday September 14, 2011 SIGNUP NOW and invite your friends for our End of Summer Wine Party on the patio with Wine and Spirits Magazine's top wineries of the year winner Chateau St. Michelle with Regional Manager Robert Dakovich and Jarrod Schott at Il Fornaio Restaurant, one of Denver's top Italian restaurants.

Michelle as one of its “Wineries of the Year” for the 16th time in its October 2011 Buying Guide, making it the most honored American winery in the magazine’s “Hall of Fame.” Only one other winery (Penfolds) has received more “Winery of the Year” awards with 20 honors.

Wine and Food Pairing: Coming Soon
Dinner after our event: We will have a group staying for dinner after the event, usually 20-30 people. Please RSVP on eventbrite for this portion of the event so we can get a headcount for staffing. The restaurant will provide the member who RSVP's for dinner an "amici" card which provides a glass of wine or dessert with your entree
About our events: Denver Wine Meetup/UncorkedDenver.com events are a unique opportunity to socialize with other young/mid professionals and make new friends over at a wine and food pairing, with select wines paired with appetizers, sometimes with the winemaker visiting.
Our events differ from the many "happy hours" in a bar groups around Denver and high priced wine organizations, distributor/festival type events as the events are a wine social with the opportunity to meet a winemaker or wine manager and focus on learning about a winery and/or a varietal. Our events provide members a unique wine and culinary pairing event with the aspect of a social mixer at an affordable price.
Please note: Our party area will be private (and blocked from the public) and we will turn away folks who do not have a ticket as we must provide the headcount to the chef and winemaker.
