Today there is an article
on Aljazeera, in which philosopher Slavoj Zizek talks about the OWS movement, the Arab Spring, the eurozone crisis, etc. He says..."the current system has lost its self-evidence, its automatic legitimacy, and now the field is open."
He also says this..."when people say 'you are a utopian', sorry, the only true utopia for me is that things can go on indefinitely the way they are".
I agree. So, with that in mind, below is a link to a video I created and posted a few days ago, called Integral Zeitgeist. There's a link to a 20 minute summary that somebody else posted, and a link to my full presentation. It seems to have spread pretty fast, and I've been getting some good responses:
"Seeing your vimeo movie Integral Zeitgeist now and find deep resonance"
"I appreciate the video you uploaded, Integral Zeitgeist, and so I want to thank you. Peace and blessings"
"Touched my heart and soul. Ready and Willing!"
"FINALLY!! Bless you for doing this!!"
And I even got one from Don Beck himself on the 20 minute summary:
"I agree with much of this and think it is very insightful; yet, it is missing some critical elements that make it still too naive"
Oh well, can't win them all. If it's naive or utopian, than I'll remind you of Slavoj Zizek's statement above that "Now the field is open".
