Chasm Lake Trail - Rocky Mtn Natl Park
We will not go all the way to Chasm Lake, but will go on the Longs Peak trail as far as the Chasm Lake trail junction and as far down the Chasm Lake trail as possible--probably about 4 miles round trip. There are some incredible views to be seen here. This trip is not recommended for beginners. There is no fee for this part of the park. Weather at these elevations is unpredictable, dress in layers and be prepared for any weather conditions. A large part of the trail is above treeline and exposed to wind. Snowshoes are required. In addition, it is recommended that you bring micro-spikes, poles, gaitors and a camera.

Just to be sure I'll be at the right place, we're meeting at the Westminster PNR on the side that does *NOT* have the parking structure, towards the back (away from the entrance)? Thanks.

I had a great workout! The wind was brutal but in all it was an amazing experience and I love meeting new people.
