Got snowshoes or snow boots? Put them on and let's get outside.
Meet at the picnic bench at Marshall Mesa trailhead at 11am, we'll start at 11:10am.
Beginners welcome, but expect a moderate pace.
We'll hike 4.6 miles with about 400 feet of elevation gain. Bring water and snacks. (You may want to bring a camera for the flatirons views.)
Expect deep areas of snow and some mud. With the forecast calling for temps in the 40s, there will be a lot of melting.
We'll hike the Marshall trail, go up to the Community Ditch and loop back using the Coal Seam Trail. Read my trip report.
Parking lot is just east of the junction of Highway 93 and Eldorado Springs Drive. (On google maps search: C.O. 93 & Eldorado Springs Dr., Boulder) The parking lot for the trailhead is about 0.1 mile east of that intersection on Eldorado Springs Dr/Marshall Road. Don't google Marshall Drive or you'll end up somewhere else. If the parking lot is full, you'll see cars parked just outside the entrance.
No dogs please.
