Evening Hike Apex Park (Golden)

This is a great location close to Denver, Lakewood, Arvada,  Golden and the surrounding areas.  You will find great views of the city while on the trail.  The wild flowers are in full bloom.  Normally dear like to meander across the trails.

For the Trail Map, go to: and download the map on that page

Read about part of the hike   Meet at 6:00pm, we're leaving at 6:15pm. If you're late, catch up.

We typically hike at a moderate to fast pace.  We're hiking 5.0 miles, about 1,000 feet elevation gain. $1 donation requested. ($0 if you're unemployed) No dogs please.

Due to construction, please meet at the northside of the MAIN Heritage Square parking lot. From 6th/I-70/C470, take I-70 West to exit 259, Morrison. Turn right. Drive about 0.9 miles to the Heritage Square entrance.

Hiking is risky. Every year people are hurt and killed because they go beyond their abilities, get lost, or bring the wrong gear. I spend hours researching hikes and rely on various sources, but I can't vouch for their accuracy. I am not a professional guide, you are responsible for yourself. By signing up for this hike you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own safety and will do the necessary research to understand the conditions of this hike and the gear you require.

Hi, I just wanted to send a comment after my RSVP. I am going to try and make this hike on Thursday, I am just not sure if I will get there on time due to traffic but will try. Thank you, Melissa
