Stuff Your Face/Hike It Off

We will eat breakfast at Country Roads in Kittredge and then hike starting at Corwina Park. This hike will be as long as those attending want it to be. This trail meets with Lair of the Bear and O'Fallon park so there are many choices. Expect at least 4 miles, but it could be 8 or more. Expect at least a moderate pace, no slow hikers please because of the many trail intersections.

See restaurant menu and address here: http://www.countryroadcafe.com

Carpool: PNR at Morrison Exit off of C-470 and Rooney Road (dirt parking lot across from the Conoco) THIS IS NOT WOOLY MAMMOTH!

Time: PNR 7:45, leaving at 8:00 promptly. We won't wait, so if you are late meet us at the restaurant. Sorry, but this has been a problem in the past. (This restaurant gets packed shortly after 8:00)

Please state if you will be meeting at the restaurant or the PNR.

*Sorry, I can't set a hike only time since I have no idea how long we will be at the restaurant.

What a beautiful day. Thanks to everyone that joined me for breakfast and the hike. You were great sports when I took the wrong trail and we had to add some more mileage. (more calories expended, however)

Excellent meetup!! I successfully stuffed my face and enjoyed the good cardio that comes with Irene's hikes! And met some very nice people :).

I hope to be doing some more of these breakfast hikes, hopefully snowshoe hikes soon...so if you don't make it off the waiting list I hope to see you next time around.

Please be courteous and remove yourself from the list if you don't plan on attending for sure by tomorrow since there is a waiting list. Thanks!

(Leashed) dogs allowed on the hike? I'd like to bring my two "boys" if possible.

Hi Brian, I prefer not to have dogs on this hike because there are a lot of mountain bikes on some parts of the trail.
