This is a great hike for beginners or folks who just want an easier hike. Let's go explore some trails on the top of North Table Mountain in Golden.
The hike starts with a steep incline of about 450 feet in 0.7 miles, but after that it's fairly flat. Expect a hike of about 3 - 6 miles, depending on when you decide to turn around.
Time: Meet at 1:30pm, we'll start at 1:40pm.
Directions: Google: 4758 Highway 93, Golden CO 80403 (The parking area is north of Golden on State Highway 93, just north of Pine Ridge Road.)
Donation: $1, ($0 if unemployed)
Dogs: Allowed on leash
Gear: Dress in layers (it's going to be chilly, but the initial hike up the hill will help warm you up) and bring water and a snack for the trail
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND some sort of traction devices -- yak trax, microspikes, etc..
