Have you ever wondered about that offshoot trail from Mt Galbraith? I did some reading and it's supposed to be a pretty way to get to the top loop. I scouted out the trailhead for parking and have done the Galbraith loop before but otherwise this will be an exploratory hike. The total mileage for this will be about 5.2 and the elevation should be somewhere around 1000 feet although I can't find any exact numbers. Since we're starting at 5 there's a very good chance we'll be doing some of our descent after dark. We'll have to do this hike pretty fast so be a reasonably strong hiker.

Meetup time: 5PM, we'll leave at 5:10PM. If you're late catch up.

Directions to TH: Go North on Hwy 93 after the intersection with US 6 and Hwy 58 to the next major intersection. Go left (west) on Iowa St. (If coming from the North, it would be a right after passing Washington St.) Take a left on Canyon Point Circle, you'll get 2 opportunities, one going clockwise and one counter. Trail head is at intersection with Valley View Court. It's in the middle of a big picket fence.
